Muninova Holdings Inc. (President and CEO: Mitsuhide Fukuda ; hereinafter “the Company”) was established today. In conjunction with this establishment, we would like to announce the purpose of the new holding company as well as the concept behind its corporate name and logo.

Holding Company “Muninova Holdings”

The Company is a pure holding company newly established as the core of the Group.
Building on the foundation of achievements and expertise cultivated at AIFUL Corporation (hereinafter, “AIFUL”), we aim to further diversify our business portfolio and maximize group-wide synergies.
Through this new structure, we will accelerate our challenge toward the next stage of branding in pursuit of our Group Vision, “For Colorful Life.”—a society where each person can play an active role.

Purpose of Establishing the Holding Company

  1. Strengthening Group Governance
    By clearly defining the authority and responsibility of each operating company, we will promote autonomous management across the Group.
    Under centralized management and oversight, we will standardize business processes and risk management, enhance group synergies, and strengthen overall competitiveness.

  2. Promoting Business Diversification
    By leading the Group’s M&A strategy, we aim to expand into a wide range of fields beyond the traditional non-bank domain.
    Through accelerated entry into diverse business areas and the creation of synergies with new businesses, we seek to reinforce the Group’s growth foundation and profitability.

 

To achieve these objectives, common functional divisions across the Group will be consolidated within the holding company, operating under the organizational structure illustrated below to drive business execution.

Concept Behind the Corporate Name and Logo

The corporate name and logo were designed by Mr. Kitagawa of GRAPH, who also participated in the renewal of AIFUL’s visual identity.

１．“Muninova” Representing “a One-of-a-Kind Brilliance”

 The corporate name embodies the following meanings:

•    Muninova = a unique place (Muni no ba) → A new central hub for the Group
•    Muni = one and only (Yuiitsu Muni) → Uniqueness
•    Nova = new star (Nova) → A star that suddenly becomes drastically bright and visible

The word Nova conveys the concept of a momentary brilliance that redefines one’s existence and becomes a guiding light toward the future.
The name Muninova Holdings reflects our belief in the inherent brilliance that everyone possesses.
By standing close to that brilliance, respecting one another, and valuing individuality, we aim to realize our Group Vision, “For Colorful Life.”


２．Logo Symbolizing the Core of the Group
The art symbol represents the image of the entire Group as a sphere, with Muninova Holdings positioned at its center.
Based on aesthetic structures such as the golden ratio and silver ratio, the design overlays the North Star—a timeless guide—expressing a form in which multiple unseen circles overlap and expand.
The logotype incorporates an essence of foresight that looks toward the future, symbolizing humanity and potential.

Under the new structure with Muninova Holdings as the parent holding company, the Company will take the lead in M&A-driven business diversification and further accelerate transformation beyond the conventional non-bank business framework.
